Zhiqiu Lin was born and raised in Beijing, China. He received his BA degrees from Cornell University in Computer Science and in Mathematics. He graduated summa cum laude and served as the Cornell A&S college symbol bearer (top 3 of the college). He is an active researcher in computer vision and machine learning. He has done projects in a variety of topics, such as self-supervised learning, open world and active learning, batch learning from bandit feedback, low-precision training, etc.
